You will need a food processor or blender
1 can of chickpeas rinsed (retain juice from can)
juice of one lemon
3 cloves of garlic
5 T of tahini paste
Empty can into food processor
add garlic and lemon juice and tahini
mix in processor or blender
while mixing, slowly add juice from can of chickpeas (approximately 1/3 of can) to desired consistency
keep mixing and add salt, pepper and paprika to taste.
Sprinkle with paprika before serving.
Hummus tastes best after sitting for 2 hours or more.
